Cosy Homes in Lancashire

Cosy Homes, is a partnership of 14 Lancashire Local Authorities established in 2013 to help improve the energy efficiency of properties across Lancashire.

We have recently been awarded £41million, as part of the government Home Upgrade Grant scheme. With this funding, we aim to install energy efficient measures to approximately 2000 properties, currently without mains gas central heating, over the next two years, to help residents feel warmer and safer in their homes.

We cover the whole of Lancashire (apart from the Fylde district) and qualifying residents can receive grants up to £38,000 for measures such as Air Source Heat Pumps, various insulation methods and Solar Panels. We can also offer smaller measures from LED Light bulbs, draught excluders, to winter warmth packs (fleecy blanket, hot water bottle and flask) and energy advice.
