Retirement of Parish Clerk after 35 years service

Gillian Benson, Parish Clerk and RFO for Pilling Parish Council, retired on 31 July 24 after 35 years service to the parish council.

Gillian was presented with a vase made by Pilling Pottery by Neil Cookson, Chair of the Parish Council, together with the rest of the councillors at the meeting on 14 August 2024.

Luckily for Pilling, Gillian will still be seen in and around the village as she volunteers in the Cafe at the Village Hall on Thursdays.
